When the cats away, the mice have a BLAST in South Carolina!

Here is what Dan, Jake, and Tess did while Abby and I were in Utah:

On their way down to South Carolina they stopped in North Carolina to see Blake and Melissa and our cute new nephew! Jake and Tess loved the balloon animals Uncle Blake made them.

STUD!!

Jake got his first suit...check out my stud-muffin!!! (Grandma's eat your hearts out!)

Becky and Abby go to Utah...

I spent TEN fabulous days with Abby and my family in Utah. Dan took off work to be with Jake and Tess while I introduced our 6 month old chub to all my family. Dan and the kids headed down to South Carolina and had a blast together (he will be blogging about their trip later). I thoroughly enjoyed taking naps during the day, watching movies, getting my hair cut, eating lots and lots and LOTS of yummy food, but best of all spending time with my family! Here is a brief overview of what we did....

Watched two BYU basketball games with Mom and Dad.

(Dad is listening to the radio while watching and listening to the T.V.)

Steve and Abby

Mom and I spent lots of time talking and enjoying Abby together. One of the benefits of my parents serving a mission at the MTC is attending devotionals given by general authorities! I was also there for Mission Conference, at which my parent both did a great job speaking in front of hundreds of missionaries. I also joined mom for some early morning kick-boxing with the Sister's and an "Enhancement" class.

I love this picture of my beautiful mom...helping to dress Abby.

Mom and Lizzie playing with Abby. Lizzie is always busy serving others and manages to stay up-beat and happy no matter what life is throwing at her.

One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Aimee's kindergarten class. My sister is a creative, enthusiastic teacher, and one of the most selfless people I know. She is inspiring!

Abby rolling around the comfy reading area...I loved the pillows the kids help to make!

Abby and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Emily, Ben and my cute nieces and nephews. Emily is expecting their 5th! Way to go Em!! I enjoyed just relaxing at her home and talking about being moms and wives! Everyone needs a sister like Emily!

Love that grin Dean!!

Evan, Abby, and Bryn

This is who Abby was grinning at...

Daddy daughter date at the Brick Oven

This August Dan and I will be hiking Mt.Timpanogos before our Breinholt reunion so I have just started to use the treadmill Dan gave me LAST Christmas. So, I agreed to do the REX LEE RUN with some of my family.

Before the race: Aimee, Shannon (Aimee's roommate), Steve, Mom, Seth Foster, Evan and Me

Right after the cannon fired. ( I wish I could workout with Aimee and Steve everyday, they definitely know how to PUMP you up!)

Along the route we had to stop and take a picture with Cosmo

After the race we headed back to have a yummy breakfast. My favorite-- "Rollie-Ups" with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and whipping cream ( Norwegian Pancakes).

I love how everyone is grinning at Abby in this picture. How could you not??

Beautiful Stephanie and Abby

I love dance! I love watching others dance with my sisters. We had a great time at Dance Sport making up our own criteria to judge the ballroom dancing. Thanks mom for thinking of this and buying the tickets!! (For some reason I don't have a picture with Aimee...but she was sitting right next to me making me laugh!!)

Another highlight of the trip was visiting Grandma and Grandpa. I am so grateful for both of them and think about them often!

This trip went by too fast, as all do. I am so blessed to have such a great family. I miss them tremendously! See you in AUGUST!
